About Me

In 2021, I relocated from the United Kingdom to Barcelona to join my partner and begin a new chapter of life. Since then, I have embraced a fresh start: building new relationships, navigating career changes, learning a new language, and immersing myself in a different culture. It has been a transformative journey of personal growth and adaptation.

My passion for psychology began early in life, and my experiences as an expat in Spain have deepened my commitment to helping others. I understand firsthand the challenges of living abroad: the feelings of uncertainty, frustration, and anxiety that can accompany such a transition. As an English-speaking therapist in Spain, my goal is to provide expat therapy that supports individuals facing these challenges, offering a compassionate space for personal growth and emotional well-being.

My Background

8 Years of Experience in Emotional Support and Education

With over eight years of experience, I have worked with individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, providing emotional support and guidance. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of assisting hundreds of individuals, helping them navigate their unique challenges and find meaningful solutions.

Training in Clinical and Counselling Psychology

I have received formal training in both clinical and counselling psychology, as well as a Master´s Degree in Mental Health Intervention, equipping me with the skills to offer a wide range of psychological support. My training allows me to address a variety of mental health concerns with empathy and expertise.

PIR Candidate

I am currently pursuing further qualifications to become a Clinical Psychologist in Spain through the PIR program. This additional training will enable me to expand the scope of individuals I can assist and deepen my ability to provide effective, compassionate care.

Psychotherapy and Humanistic Approaches

In addition to clinical psychology, I have specialized training in psychotherapeutic and humanistic approaches. This allows me to integrate effective techniques into my expat therapy services, helping clients navigate cultural transitions, stress, and emotional challenges.

Volunteering and Community Support

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered with Age UK, providing emotional support to elderly and isolated individuals. This experience reinforced my belief in the importance of community, connection, and reaching out to those in need, particularly in challenging times.

My Therapy

I’m here to help you regain control and make meaningful changes in your life. My approach is centered on listening, supporting, and guiding you to discover the solutions that work best for you. In our sessions, we’ll build a mutual understanding, creating a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and truly heard. Together, we’ll set clear therapy goals during our early sessions, ensuring that we can celebrate your progress and personal growth throughout the therapeutic process.

While each session is unique, I offer a flexible, open environment where you are welcome to share anything on your mind, even if it deviates from our initial goals. I blend humanistic therapy, counselling, and coaching techniques to provide a space for you to express yourself openly. When appropriate, I offer insights into your emotions and behaviours, helping you understand why you may feel a certain way, and guiding you toward the most effective solutions for your well-being.

I work with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, fears, and interpersonal conflicts. My particular focus is providing therapy for expats living in Spain. Moving to another country is a brave and life-changing step, but it can also bring unique emotional challenges. Many expatriates experience homesickness, culture shock, and loneliness, and I offer specialized therapy to help you process these emotions and adjust to your new life. Whether it’s missing home, adapting to a new culture and language, or navigating new relationships and careers, I’m here to help you not just cope but thrive. Having gone through this journey myself, I provide expat counseling services with both professional expertise and personal understanding.

Individualised Humanistic Therapy

I provide person-centered therapy for expats and English speakers in Spain, focusing on self-awareness, emotional resilience, and overcoming personal challenges. Humanistic therapy emphasizes personal growth by encouraging self-exploration in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
